This template can be used as a guide for an opening session using Community Connections activities and worksheets. This template is based on a three hour meeting-6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Everyone attending should have a copy of, or be aware of, the ESI (EntrepreneurShip Investigation) Curriculum. Change the times as needed for your Community Connections project...

Take Home Assignment: All participating read ESI Unit 1, Chapter 2 "Investigating Who is Down the Block". Using the entrepreneur interview sample on ESI Unit 1 Page 5.2, interview at least three local entrepreneurs. Complete the exercises on Pages 2.1 and 2.2. Be prepared to "report what you learned" as our opener for Session 2.
